Paroxetine is commonly used as its hydrochloride or methanesulfonate.Hydrochloride is white or off-white,easily deliquescent crystalline powder,easily soluble in methanol,slightly soluble in absolute ethanol and methylene chloride,and slightly soluble in water.Methanesulfonate is an off-white powder,odorless,solubility in water>1g/ml,melting point 147~150℃.
